In this globalized world, the arrival of families from diverse geographical, historical and cultural backgrounds, confronts us to become aware of a new social identity, with challenges that transcend the purely legal or assistance framework. Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is a traditional ancestral practice in which the violation of human rights, the need for a transcultural approach and the moral commitment to avoid it.
Program
Three days, nine panels, two conferences, debate and documentary video, is our proposal for this forum, whose main objective is to update research, developments, approach and interventions for the prevention of FGM and management of its consequences, both in Spain, and internationally.
